Select the Perfect Fly- Mid-Atlantic
and Southeastern States
Recommended Prerequisites: Getting Started,
Knots and Rigging Technique, The Perfect Cast,
Perfect Presentation & the Understanding Trout
series.
Thanks to the Appalachian
Mountains, the Mid-Atlantic and
Southeastern U. S. states are home
to more trout streams than most
non-local anglers realize. In addition,
the need for flood control and energy
lead to construction of many dams
that discharge tailwaters cool enough
to support trout, consequently, over
the years many warm water streams
have been converted into decent
trout fisheries. This program covers
hatches and other trout food that is
available on streams in the states of
West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware,
Ohio, Virginia, Kentucky,
Tennessee, North Carolina, South
Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama
