Beaver Kill, New York:
Type: Freestone
Species: Brook, Brown and Rainbow

Although the Beaver Kill is one of, if not the, most historic trout stream in the nation, you
will find that there are two miles of public access to these famous waters. The covered
bridge campground area is one public access point, and a section where the stream shows
off its classic pool and rifle features. The Beaver Kill is located in the Southern foothills of
the Catskills in the New York state. This video may leave little doubt that this fellow has
much to do with the name of this famous stream. The beaver just goes about its business as
if trout anglers are a very common sight.
